January 2020, Intuitive Guidance & Practice

1 is the start. Each year in January we might have new resolutions for the coming year, new plans, new strategies. 2020 is not about our plans, is about the divine plan, the plan whispered by my intuitive self. Let ourselves be guided and trust this guidance! This is where should be our focus (1). A focus to always come back to this inner reference, to this inner voice, and to have the appropriate life style to sustain the clarity and strength required for it.

It is time to recognize that nothing outside us can make us happy! We are complete (1) and we have been complete since the beginning. 4 is to recognize this truth and to take the responsibility for it. How long do we still need to accept to be distracted and to feel alive only when we are distracted?

2020 offers a constant (or double!) mirror (2) of our inner reality that we will not be able to deny for long. A mirror is not always comfortable but it is such an opportunity. In January, this mirror will reflect the 1 (me in my totality). It is time to enjoy the show, without judgment and with humility. We can learn a lot from this reflection and use this mirror to remind us the constant reality which is beyond any circumstances, our Sat Nam, infinite, unchangeable and at peace!

In January we come back to the one, to the essence of what is and the potential that can become. There are no distractions to sustain the illusion. Our relationships (2) are naked and this may raise doubts, fears, or questions. Do we choose to clarify, communicate and trust the unknown or to deny (2) and to use prana to control and stay in the known?

1+2+0+2+0=5. 5 in numerology is our physical body and the interface of the physical in the more subtle through our nervous system.
New information is becoming available at a fast speed and that challenges us, especially our nervous system. Facing this planetary acceleration, we need to change our attitude and embrace our feminine. We need to surrender our little “I” to perceive a bigger picture, to sense another level of belonging, to feel the Earth as living beings of which we are a part.
When we were in the womb, we receive information from our mother to prepare us for the next journey in the outside world. We are not over challenged by it because we are still plugged into the unknown and the infinite from where we come from. In time we lose this connection and our innocence. We become clever and we overuse our mind.
Today, the Earth is releasing a lot of information through multiple changes (including climate change). We are receiving precious messages to continue our journey at another dimension. Without a strong bonding to Mother Earth and a strong relationship to the unknown, it is difficult to digest them without being overwhelmed. Rationality does not apply here! Dive into your heart, and listen to the heartbeat of the Earth.

Practice for January 2020

Kriya 1: Kriya for the second chakra – 20 min (see below)
Release blocks in our sexual energy. Stimulate the second chakra.

Kriya 2: Sat Kriya – 22 min to 31 min
Connect the sexual energy to the third eye. Creativity in your higher centers.

Relaxation

Meditation 1: Meditation to feel God in your heart – 19 min (see below)
Keep the psyche positive. Limit the automatic reactions of the mind (defensive, survival mode). Healing balm to center the mind and focus your spirit.

Meditation 2: Bound lotus – up to 31 min
The legs are in full-lotus with the arms crossed behind the back, hands holding the toes with the forehead on the ground. Lotus is held for up to 31 minutes.
This is a challenging posture, because it requires a fair amount of physical flexibility and endurance. Most of us have to gradually develop more flexibility of the spine, muscles and joints in order to do it correctly.
While holding the posture, you can listen to the Reman Shabd.
Restorative posture, it engages the entire body by binding it into the symbol of infinity.
It can be seen as the ‘Seat of Awareness’ that allows you to merge into the spirit realm where all healing is possible.

FULL MOON January 10 – European Time
Kriya of your choice.
Meditation to feel God in your heart – 19 min

Kriya – For the Second Chakra/Sex Center

Frog Pose. Squat down, balancing on the balls of the feet. The heels are touching and raised up. The fingertips are on the ground between the legs, spine erect, the face is forward. Inhale, straighten the legs, look at the knees, keep the fingertips on the ground and the heels raised up. Exhale down, face forward, spine erect. 26 times. To end, inhale, hold in up position, exhale down, breathe long and deep for one minute, circulating the energy. Repeat 26 more times, rest again. The movement is rapid.

Pelvic Lifts. Lie on the back. Bend the knees. Feet are flat on the floor. Grab hold of the ankles. Inhale and lift the pelvis up, pushing the navel point to the sky. Exhale down, sequentially lowering the vertebrae. Two periods of three minutes each with a rest in between. Meditate “Sat” on the inhale, “Nam” on the exhale.
(As you inhale up, engage mulabandha / root lock and tuck the pelvis in (pelvic tilt) so that the back doesn’t arch. The sacrum and hips are the last to touch down. The abdomen is relaxed when coming down.)

Front Platform. Begin by lying on the stomach. Place the palms flat on the ground near your shoulders. Push yourself up by straightening the elbows. Balance the body on the top of the feet and palms, head up, looking forward, body straight as a board from the neck to the feet. Do Breath of Fire, 3 minutes.
(This tests the condition of the spine. If the nerves have been weakened through sex, it will show up as shaking of the spine.)
To end, inhale deep, hold, with rectum closed, spin energy up spine to top of head, exhale, gracefully relax in corpse pose on the back, circulate the energy and meditate “Sat” on the inhale, “Nam” on the exhale.

Butterfly Pose. Begin in Easy Pose. Grab underneath the feet, hold the soles of the feet together, pull heels in to within 6” of the sex organs. Pull the spine up, apply Neck Lock. Bounce the knees forcefully, rapidly, up and down with Breath of Fire, 3 minutes. Put whole weight on sides of feet, balance over the feet, hands supporting behind, in front if possible, use elbows in front as a variation instead of hands, bounce 1-2” up and down, a small stretching, with Breath of Fire, 3 minutes.

Bridge Pose. Begin in a sitting position with the legs out in front. Bend the knees, lift the trunk up, make a bridge of the body by keeping your feet flat on the ground. Lift the hips up. Keep the head relaxed and allowed to fall back all the way. The eyes are closed and relaxed, gently looking back behind you through the third eye. There should be a straight line from the collar bone to the knees. 3 min

COMMENTS: The Second Chakra is called the Svadhisthana Chakra. The element associated with the Second Chakra is “water.” Water is much more mobile than earth (associated with the First Chakra). Through patient and constant repetition, water can even shape earth. Here in the Second Chakra is the root of the creativity of the individual which can either be tied up in physical lust and drag many people into suffering or it can be channeled and circulated into other centers, thereby fulfilling the individual in everyday life. The Second Chakra is about desire, passion, about duality and polarities, about movement and change, but fundamentally about creativity. When the Second Chakra is well-developed, you paint the world with passions, motivations and opinions. It prepares the way for compassion in the Fourth Chakra because there are things you clearly care about and want.

MEDITATION TO FEEL GOD IN YOUR HEART – 9/10/01

Ang is ‘a part’. Sang is ‘in every,’ or ‘with every’. Wahe is ‘the indescribable living ecstasy of Infinite Being’. Guru is ‘the knowledge that transforms your mind, emotion and essence.’ The whole phrase means, “The Infinite Being, God, is with me, and vibrates in every molecule and cell of my being.”

This mantra expresses a universal truth. Repeating it creates a thought, which gradually guides the psyche to adjust itself. It re-connects every fragmented projection of the psyche, each separated part of the body, and synchronizes the finite sense of self to the Infinite Oneness. This act of rejoining the separated parts is the quintessential act of healing. Under attack, under war, under the pressures of fear, this meditation keeps us together, conscious, and ready to act. It brings the inner peacefulness that comes only from the touch and scope of spirit.
This meditation was given by Yogi Bhajan in Espanola on September 10, 2001. He has specified that it is the best meditation for everyone to do now. He spoke about how important it was for us to feel God in our hearts.

Posture: Easy Pose

Eyes: Closed

Mudra: hands are clasped and held at the level of the sternum, slightly in front of the chest. The fingers of the right hand are on top. The wrists are straight, so that there is a pyramid formed by the mudra and arms.

Mantra: Ang Sang Wahe Guru, version by Nirinjan Kaur. If the tape is not available, chant at a rate of 2.5 seconds per repetition of the mantra, with a 1.5 second pause before the next repetition..

Part 1
Chant with the mantra, pumping the navel point forcefully on each of the 5 syllables.
Continue for 11 minutes
If the tape is not used, the navel is pumped twice per second for 2.5 seconds, followed by a 1.5 second pause before repeating.

Part 2
Continue to pump the navel hard on each of the 5 syllables of the mantra, but stop chanting and listen only for 8 minutes. If you are doing it without a tape, maintain the pace indicated above while you listen to the sound of your mental chanting.

To End the meditation
Inhale, exhale, inhale and stretch the arms up with the hands locked. Stretch the spine. Exhale and relax.

Yogi Bhajan gave this Mantra as a practice for peace and to deal with the mental imbalances caused by war. He first gave it during the war with Iraq and once again has given it for its healing power and strength. To meditate, chant the mantra in a steady pace. Enunciate each sound precisely. This will help heal the wounds of war that tear the psyche apart. There is a phobia that comes in wartime. It is the feeling that all that is familiar is actually unfamiliar. The fear is that those you love can turn against you or that those you love will be torn away. Then the psyche becomes depressed and defensive. The mind contracts and loses touch with its resources and with the larger flow of the Universe. This meditation acts like a healing balm to center the mind and focus your spirit.
