Through discoveries in neuroscience, we learn how Kundalini Yoga directly addresses the nervous and glandular systems.

“AJAI ALAI is that vast dimension beyond time and space, yet so familiar that it makes you feel like you’ve come home.

An alchemical crucible and an invitation to refine our being, the school is a place where we learn to become ‘human’.”

Initiation to Sound

SHANKHA PRAKSHALANA translates as the cleansing (prakshalana) of the conch (shankha). Our body is like a conch, built around divine laws and a place of experience of the living and thedivine. Our body is also made of many small conches, like intermediate cavities. Activating those cavities is like stepping into successive stages which open us to the full experience and full potential of this life.

The conch is the perfect form for reflecting the sound of creation, a reflection of the acceptance of the flow of life. It also produces a powerful sound, reflecting the strength of our creative flow when we honour and take responsibility for who is alive within us.

The aim of the FOUNDATION training is to introduce you to sound and its resonance. It involves a cleansing of your energy channels to clarify your perceptions and remind you of your uniqueness and your true self, and to dare to manifest this truth.

Reverence

The teachings are based on respect for Tradition as infused by the rishis of India and the Sufi saints. This path was formalised by Guru Nanak in the 15th century. It has been updated more recently by Yogi Bhajan and Gurudev Singh. The transmission offered here is both technically precise (Shakti) and imbued with devotion (Bhakti). Click here to learn more about our tradition.

Collective Intelligence

In residential retreats, particular emphasis is placed on community (SANGHAT) and yoga in action (SEVA). Participants are strongly encouraged to take part in the day-to-day running of residential life, thus opening themselves up to collective intelligence.
