Let’s start by looking at the numbers of 2024.
Primarily, we have: 2+0+2+4 = 8, Pranic body
And secondarily: 2+4 = 6, Arcline
4, Neutral mind & 2, Negative Mind.
8 is the flow of energy/Prana between 2 polarities that meet in the middle of the 8.
8 is our resources and how we manage them.
How do I use my Prana, and for what?
These decisions depend on our self-authority; how much do we rely on our inner self versus how much do the impressions, opinions, and information that reach us from outside influence us? In other words, how much power do we give to others to “decide” for us, which is usually unconscious?
Here, the Arcline plays an important role. A healthy Arcline tells us what is right or just for us, independently from outside influences. Our Arcline is the link between our infinite and finite, the channel of our intuition. Our Neutral mind (4) is our capacity to integrate that information without judgment.
8 is about constant flow and continuity, like ocean waves. If we fight the waves, try to impose another rhythm, and judge them (too high, too big, too small, …), we create discontinuity and pain, and we miss the prosperity of that moment. There is no in-between, whether we experience continuity or not.
2 and 8 are like a pair (2+8=10). 2 reflects the separation, the longing, and 8, the experience between our limited and infinite selves. Contemplating our breath, we experience both the unlimited flow of Prana going through our body and the instinctive/unconscious movements of our muscles that allow the breath, as well as the limited vessel that contains that expansion (our limited physical body with its boundaries). Contemplating our breath, we witness a constant expansion and contraction, a constant manifestation of both the unlimited and limited.
Here are some reflections to support us in embracing the prosperity of 2024, the flow of life constantly pouring its blessings.
Regain your self-authority!
Drop the outer expectations you are trying to fulfill.
Sometimes, they hide in the form of inner voices: “I should be like this, I should not be that, I should be more of this, …”.
Free yourself!
Be independent of the voice of social media, and do not define yourself according to collective standards or short-term artificial norms. Come back to your centre, the core of your being, and from there, expand & project into the outer world.
Take responsibility; life is about you, not the others!
Honour your commitment, be aware of your impact, and stop to justify your shortcomings.
Let go of your obsolete beliefs, inappropriate structures, and improper relationships…
What does not serve your essence, let it go and accept the grief. What you let go of creates a space to welcome a new prana, an opportunity to re-align yourself.
Stand for what resonates within you!
There is nothing to fight against. Define your values and integrity from within and find the courage to stand for it. You have nothing to lose.
Life is a gift; the question is, what can you digest?
Life is life; life is not against or for you, and life is not positive or negative. The flow of prana is constant and comes to you if you need to discover your deeper self. What you label as unfavourable is what you cannot digest; what you label as positive is what fits your preconceptions of what should be life.
It is time to play!
If you are in the moment, sensing, feeling, perceiving, … each moment is a chance to discover more, to be engaged more, … like a child, life is a playground where there is no attachment.
Your past was perfect!
Everything you experienced in your past, in your childhood, was precisely what you needed to become who you are. There is nobody to blame. Everybody did their best according to who they were, including you. There is nothing to heal! The only lesson to learn from our past is compassion.
There is only inner conflict!
Whatever or whoever comes your way, if you experience discontinuity, there is an inner conflict within, which means 2 parts of yourself want different things, creating an inner tension. There is no solution outside of you.
Go in nature!
Reduce your time on your screens and spend time in nature. Nature is the creation of God/Goddess; our screens and all information that go through them are human creations.
Confront yourself before life confronts you,
Start new things, be curious, and go out of your automatisms and habits.
KRIYA AND MEDITATIONS
Meditation 1: Karam Shambahaumi Kriya
Meditation 2: Chant the Shalok of Guru Nanak’s Japji Sahib for as long as you want:
“Pavan guroo paanee pitaa maataa Dharat mahat.
divas raat du-ay daa-ee daa-i-aa khaylai sagal jagat.
chang-aa-ee-aa buri-aa-ee-aa vaachai Dharam hadoor.
karmee aapo aapnee kay nayrhai kay door.
jinee naam Dhi-aa-i-aa ga-ay maskat ghaal. naanak tay mukh ujlay kaytee chhutee naal.”
Translation :
“The Wind Is the Guru, The Teacher, The Guide, and Water Is the Father.
The Mother is the great and honored Earth.
Day and Night Are the two nurses in whose lap the entire world Plays.
All that is good, all that is bad, are equally embraced.
In the presence of the Divine Under the command of Divine Law.
By your actions, you, yourself, will know How close you are to Truth Or how far away.
Those who meditate In the core Of their being,
Who earn themselves Through their hard work,
Nanak, Their faces are radiant and beautiful.
And so very many who are connected with them are liberated, too.”
